Binary Options Indices: Best Brokers and Recommended Trading Strategies

Posted on by John Thiel

The main advantage of trading binary options indices is in the fact that you don’t have to speculate or guess the exact range or outcome on a given trade when the contract expires. The same is true for currency pairs (Forex trading), Commodities, and Stock, when trading digital options (AKA exotic options) you just have to predict the general direction correctly (up/down or above/ below).

Furthermore, when you trade binary index options you stand to make a lot money very quickly. On the other hand, if you don’t manage your risk properly you can lose it just as fast. Still, if you can find the right strategy, binary options and Index Options allow you to effectively manage and minimize your risk levels thereby keeping your investment safer and less exposed to daily market fluctuations.

Screenshot A represents the indices trading panel at one of our recommended binary options brokers. The selection shows GOLD, but you need to choose Dow Jones or whatever Index you want to trade. Take a good look at the expiration time and date as well as the max payout rates. That’s it, your ready to trade!

A Strategic Approach
Indexes (AKA indices) are considered “range” trades but are also displayed as high and low trades in your account.

OK, so let’s say your are trading the news and the Indexes are taking a turn upward. In this scenario, if you are speculating on the high you are looking for a hammer or cup and handle formation on the candlesticks and try to identify the best break-off point on the resistance line and proceed to buy the high (above) binary option contract.

The key to being a successful binary options trader is making a focused, decisive, and calculated decision on whether to buy the option when you understand to the best of your ability that its time to make the trade. Hesitations and a tendency to over analyze the stock or Index will kill your trading momentum and your profits.

Continuing with the previous trading scenario, the probability of the underlying asset staying over the resistance level is significantly high. In general, Indexes usually trend in a specific direction on regular business days (barring any catastrophe or force majeur) which explains why this trading vehicle is preferred by many of my colleagues and they factor it into their strategy and trading portfolio. Before you register and deposit money with a binary options broker, make sure they accept US trades on indices. Some of today’s Cyprus-licensed brokers will only let US traders buy stock options.

Below you will find a breakdown of all the indices offered and the broker offering it on the asset index. It took our staff a long time to gather and assemble this information, as always should you be interested in receiving more in-depth analysis and reviews about each and every broker, simply browse the reviews section and find the broker that’s right for you.
